Description
The MSO is an 18″ plane designed for outdoor fun flying. It’s based on an old towline glider by Veron called the Cirro-Sonic. Its classic good looks really scale down well, and the Ikara molded prop on 1/8″ rubber matches it very nicely. The motorstick is an interesting composite of basswood and balsa, made so the basswood not only forms a nice stiff keel along the bottom, but adds the necessary noseweight as well. It’s a very nice “out back in the field behind the house” kind of plane. It comes with some red HDPE for covering, a little heftier than my usual indoor covering, but as always, you’re welcome to cover your plane as you like!
